One platform for air-traffic tools
Europe's air-traffic network runs on dozens of operational tools, some of them twenty years old. Our team helped turn them into modern web products that share one framework, one sign-in and one design system.
The challenge
Every tool had its own login, its own look and its own way of working. Product teams rebuilt the same basics again and again, and operational users switched between interfaces all day.
It is a regulated environment where mistakes are expensive, so every change had to pass review and every release had to be ready for operations.
Inside the platform
One framework behind every tool: the same sign-in, the same design system, the same live picture of the network on any screen.

Representative screens with illustrative data. Operational screens stay confidential.
What we did
Discover
User interviews and design workshops with operational users. Gap and impact analysis between the legacy systems and the new solutions.
Define
A product vision and roadmap for one shared framework that serves the whole product family, not a single team.
Plan
A backlog shaped with around ten teams and leadership. Shared capabilities ranked by reuse and impact.
Design
A design system and one look and feel for every tool. A/B tests on the flows that matter most.
Build
Single sign-on, profile settings, notification management, integrated analytics and an AI assistant, built once and reused everywhere.
Launch
Release readiness with release management and DevOps. System and service requirements written for regulatory review.
Grow
Adoption and KPIs tracked for every shared capability, reported to leadership to steer the roadmap.
